Santo Pierre joined Haiti Village Health in 2008 as a skilled electrician and translator and served as the organizations Country Director until June 2012.

Born in Labadee Village, Santo moved to Cap Haitien in order to complete his studies. He is well aware of the ongoing needs of this region and is committed to improving services for people of this area.

Santo’s primary responsibilities include local administration, finances, transportation, guesthouse and team logistics. One of the things Santo likes most about working with Haiti Village Health is the respect shown for all who work and live here. Santo also feels that Haiti Village Health has a positive vision for the future of the region.

HVH is excited to announce that Jill Allison PhD is our new HVH Research coordinator. As you may be aware, our goal in Haiti is sustainability. Our short-term medical teams allow us to teach Haitians and provide a learning opportunity for medical students and residents which works well in the team setting.
